Country singer Tim McGraw collapsed on stage during a concert in Ireland on Sunday, reports. McGraw had finished singing his song "Humble and Kind" when he fell to his knees and sat down during the Country to Country festival.
"I thought he was taking in the applause while sitting down after singing 'Humble and Kind,'" concertgoer Del Crooks told the . "But when a spotlight was switched on him, he was slumped on his knees on the left hand side of the stage. The light was quickly turned off and you could see his crew helping him off - and the band ran over as well. It was about another 20 minutes before Faith Hill came out to say the show was ending early."
Faith Hill, who is married to McGraw and is touring with him, went back on stage to tell the Dublin concertgoers what happened. "We've all been a little bit dehydrated, traveling so much," she said. "He's been super dehydrated and I apologize, but I made the decision that he cannot come back out onstage."
A rep for McGraw explained what happened in a statement to:
"Tim McGraw was suffering from dehydration in Dublin this evening at the C2C show. He was attended to by local medical staff on-site and will be fine. He and [Faith Hill] thank everyone for their love and support and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon."
According to the BBC and the , fans chanted "We Love Tim" and "Get Well, Tim," Hill warned the audience to drink water, and then went on to sing an a cappella version of the gospel song "What A Friend We Have in Jesus" before the concert ended.
