Hello, Beyoncé? Are you watching the 2018 Winter Olympics?

Wanted to let you know know that French figure skater Maé-Bérénice Méité just owned the rink at the PyeongChang Games with a routine set to a medley of some of your classics: "Run the World (Girls)" and "Halo."

This is the first Olympics at which figure skaters are allowed to perform to music featuring lyrics, and Méité set the bar high. Wearing a gold-sequined jumpsuit (no doubt a look Beyonce would approve of), Méité twirled, jumped, and lutzed around the Gangneung Ice Arena with a huge grin on her face. Not to knock classical music, but it was refreshing to see Méité boppin' around to Bey in the figure skating team event.

Just minutes after her performance, Cosmopolitan.com spoke with the two-time Olympian about her song choice — and mutual love for the The Queen.

"[Her music] is crazy, wild, and fun," she said, with a laugh. "You can just dance to it, and that's how I am."

Méité admits her song choice is "a little different" from what other skater's have chosen at this Olympics — her competitor Evgenia Medvedeva of Russia chose Frederic Chopin, for example.

"It's different!" she says. "But I'm different, too, so [going in] I was like, 'Why not go for it?' "

She adds: "I wanted to do something that was very me, something fun, something I would enjoy!"

Twitters users loved the performance, with big fans like three-time U.S. national champion Ashley Wagner tweeting out praise, like, "she is such [fire] to watch every time."

It literally doesn't matter what happens put on the ice with she is such 🔥🔥🔥 to watch every time

However, there might have been moments when the backing music was (understandably) too distracting for Méité, who fell during her program. She scored a 46.62, landing in ninth place, behind Evgenia Medvedeva of Russia, who placed first and Team USA's Bradie Tennell, who landed in fourth, among others.

Still, there's the ladies' competition to come next week (separate from the team event) and, hey, even if Méité doesn't grab gold this Games, she's already won our hearts.
