If you needed a little nudge to donate your hair to wig programs for cancer patients, here's all the motivation you needed. (And if you're looking to restore your faith in humanity, this will do that, too.)
Emily James is 3 years old, and she's already got more empathy than some people 10 times her age. Sitting in a chair at the salon where her uncle Matthew works, the tot explains the reason she'll be getting her hair cut.
"Sometimes kids get sick, and then their hair falls out. That's really really sad," she says. "I don't want any kids to be sad that they have no hair. What I want to do is give them my hair. Because I have more hair, just cut some of the hair off and give it to someone!" Heart. Melting.
The video has already received 8 million views on Facebook, 4 million on YouTube, and is rapidly growing.
Watch it below, and if you're thinking of making the chop to donate — learn more about which provides free wigs to women battling cancer.
