Roseanne fans, you're gonna want to watch the latest trailer that's just been released for ABC's upcoming revival. Well, kind of ...

The trailer offers us a glimpse of the first table read for the revival's season premiere, including a few lines of dialogue. "Dan!" Roseanne Barr says. "What?" Goodman responds. "I thought you were dead!" Which may or may not be a sign that Dan's death is going to be glossed over pretty quickly when the show returns.

That's definitely the indication Goodman gave when he was asked about returning last month, admitting that he gave very little thought to how the revival would bring him back. "I don't care. I didn't care. It was irrelevant. It was just silly," he said of Dan's original fate. The finale of the original series revealed that the entire show was a fictionalized version of its title character's life, written by Roseanne herself in order to cope with the death of her husband, who in reality didn't survive the heart attack he suffered in the pilot. It was rough.

Goodman got a lot more emotional when describing how it felt to walk back onto the Conner house set for the first time. "The hair on my arms stands up. It's like if I was going to put my Boy Scouts uniform on again and it still fit," he told .

The new nine-episode season of Roseanne will premiere on March 27, 2018 with a special hour-long episode.
