Once again, Today anchor Savannah Guthrie is having to confront online scammers.
Right now, there are false advertisements claiming that the host is leaving her job at Today to spend more time on her skincare line. Of course, this is causing a lot of her fans to wonder: Is Savannah leaving the Today show for good?
If you were worried that these rumors might be true, you can breathe easy. The Today co-host hopped on Twitter on Tuesday to confirm to a curious fan that the reports about her saying goodbye to the program to "focus on her beauty business" are 100% not true.
In fact, Savannah doesn't even have a skincare line, which back in September of 2018 when she was first fighting the scheme.
Sadly, these fake stories and ads have been an ongoing struggle for many celebrities. Besides Savannah, Lara Spencer, , , and Kim Kardashian have all had to deal with scammers trying to use their names to sell products.
