There's no denying it: The Duchess is definitely a fun mom.

Phew! What a busy, busy weekend for the royal fam!

On Saturday, the entire crew got together to celebrate the Queen's 92nd birthday for the annual Trooping the Colour parade. As if that spectacle wasn't enough, Will, Kate, George, and Charlotte were out and about again on Sunday in Gloucester for a royal polo match. The Duke of Cambridge — being the stellar polo player that he is — participated, while Kate and the kids, minus Prince Louis, cheered him on and had a fun play date.

While it appeared both Charlotte and George were having an absolute blast running around and playing with their toys, Kate seems to have enjoyed the afternoon just as much ... if not more.

First, there was the giant slinky that looks like it was brought for little George. The young prince had his fun with the toy for a little bit, but the Duchess seemed to be really into it. Like, really, really. Just look at the concentration!

It's as if George is saying here, "Hey mum, can I have a turn?"

"No really, mum, can I have it back?"

Not to worry. The Duchess gave the slinky back ... eventually.

During the afternoon, Kate also got up from the lawn to chase her kids around.

And, of course, she couldn't resist a few moments of snuggling with her two royal cuties.

That Kate — she's such an awesome mom, isn't she?! Every time we see her, we're reminded more and more of Princess Diana, an equally fun and involved parent. Just like Kate, Diana enjoyed play dates with little William and Harry.

"Both women are a barrier of protection around their kids," Susan Constantine, human behavioral expert and author of previously told GoodHousekeeping.com. "They're like a human stop sign ... in a loving way, of course."

As for the play date this past weekend, it's just another example of what we all know to be true: Kate is all in when it comes to her kids.

"Time and time again, Kate proves that her focus is on her children — not anyone else," Patti Wood, body language expert and author of has said. "She's never tugging at her children or walking ahead of them."

Nope, she's right there beside them — being a goofball and all.
