It looks like the online world is being split yet again in another "can you see it?" battle. This time however, it isn't a , but rather an optical illusion that, despite the science behind the phenomenon, some still cannot see.
The , shows a demonic-looking negative image of a woman with blue skin and white eyes and hair against a pitch-black background. The image instructs the viewer to stare at a dot on the woman's nose in the negative image for 15 seconds, then to look immediately at the white space right next to the figure.
The concept behind this visual sensation, also known as a negative afterimage, isn't a new one, but what's interesting about this photo is that not everyone can see the shocking difference between the negative image and the afterimage. When you look to the white space after staring at the dot, you'll likely find that your eyes transform the creepy image into a beautiful photo of a young brunette woman.
We're not entirely sure why some people can't experience this wild phenomenon, but the debate over is certainly taking the online world by storm.
