Meghan Markle’s family has caused their fair share of drama around her wedding to Prince Harry, with the exception of one person: her mother, Doria Ragland.

Following the announcement that her father, Thomas Markle, would no longer be attending the royal wedding, Ragland is the only member of Markle’s immediate family that will be in attendance for the big day, and her support of her daughter was on full display.

Ragland made her appearance riding in the carriage with her daughter to Windsor Castle wearing a mint green dress embroidered with white florals by Oscar de la Renta. She topped it off with a matching cocktail hat that perfectly fit the part for the mom of royalty.

According to , color consultant and author of , Doria's color choice has a super sweet meaning.

“Green is the color of growth and rebirth,” she explained to GoodHousekeeping.com, also noting that the white accents have a purpose as well.

“White symbolizes wholeness and unity — fitting for a wedding. White encourages one to be more open-minded, forgiving, and to accept new reality with greater clarity.”

What a beautiful representation of Meghan close relationship with her mom and Ragland’s full support as her daughter enters the royal family. We’re so happy that despite the rocky road leading up to Meghan’s big day that she could have the family member that’s most important to her by her side.
